Looks like we made it

I know i have been remiss in posting . It’s been a busy and exciting few days, punctuated with light breeze and wind shifts.

we made same new friends with the French ship Rara Avis. They are also headed to Flores where we hope to exchange photos from the high seas.

There have been so many dolphin sightings that the crew doesn’t come running any more. I had two pods in my early morning watch yesterday. Whales are still being elusive.

We are less than 10 miles off the coast of Flores as I write this. There will be much needed showers (don’t want to offend the locals) and possibly a clothes burning bonfire later today. For now, I can say, after 15 days at sea…
